David Vance

Mr. David Vance, age 68 of Bronston, KY, son of the late Emmett and Sarah (Collins) Vance was born on October 18, 1942 in Cumberland, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. Other than his parents Mr. Vance was preceded in death by one daughter; Katina Vance. Mr. Vance is survived by his wife; Vickie Vance of Bronston, KY, one son; David Daniel (and Jennifer) Vance of Lexington, KY, four brothers; Larry Vance of Prestonsburg, KY, Bill Vance also of Prestonsburg, KY, Jack Vance of Florida, and Frank Vance of Prestonsburg, KY, one sister; Melida Jean Szendre of California. Mr. Vance also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and host of friends and family who all mourn his passing. Mr. Vance worked as a carpenter and loved woodworking and his grandkids. Mr. Vance was half Cherokee and half Blackfoot and made Indian artifacts. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 1, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Gravehill Cemetery in Tateville, KY. The family of Mr. David Vance will receive friends on Monday, August 1, 2011 after 12:00 noon until time for services at the funeral home.
