John M. Caudill

John M. Caudill, 78 of Somerset Village in Somerset, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in Casey County on January 3, 1929, son of the late Allard and Palmyra Eddington Caudill. He was self-employed as a truck driver, a member of Friendship Baptist Church and a mason. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Day Caudill, whom he married on November 4, 1947, one daughter, Joetta & (John) LaPole of Venice, Florida, one son, Mike & (Patti) Caudill of Somerset, three grandchildren, Chris LaPole, Amy Wright and Bill Caudill and one great-grandchild, Rachel Wright. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Granville, Earl, Chester and Jesse Caudill and one sister, Pearlie Shea. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, June 14, 2007 at Friendship Baptist Church in Waynesburg with Bro. Emery Caudill, Bro. Paul Watson and Bro. H.B. Reedy officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery in Waynesburg. Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at Pulaski Funeral Home and after 10 AM Thursday at Friendship Baptist Church. Pulaski Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
