Ronald “Tony” Anthony Holts, 43 years old, departed this life on May 7, 2011. The son of Sunnie E. Holts-Penman, born on June 1, 1967 in Somerset, KY to reside in the loving care of his grandparents, Emmit and Bobby Holts, better known as “Granny and Pap”.
Tony graduated from Somerset High School, The Class of 1985. He continued his education at Eastern Kentucky University where he completed his undergraduate with a Bachelor of Science in Police Administration and a double minor in Criminal Justice and Juvenile Corrections. He went to graduate school, but with unforeseen circumstances, he completed up to three quarters of his masters.
He was married to Lisa Stigall Holts, and to this union, two children were born, Patience Aniesha-Meshel Holts and Reaghan Lakiesha-Marie Holts. He obtained a loving daughter, Brandi Barnett and a loving grandson, Christopher Newell II.
Overtime, Tony fostered over 50 children and continued this occupation until his passing.

Holts-Penham of Somerset, Kentucky, 2 brothers; Emmit Wayne Holts of Lexington, Kentucky, Kenneth “Bucky” Holts of Somerset, Kentucky, 1 sister; O’retha Renee Jones-Kendall of Louisville, Kentucky, 4 aunts and uncles; Mary (Jimmy) Goggins of Somerset, Kentucky, Wanda (Robert) Campbell, Sherry (Ronnie) Ingram of Lexington, Kentucky, and Emma (James) Hines of Somerset, Kentucky, 1 grandson Christopher Newell II., 7 nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends who all mourn his passing.
Tony was preceded in death by Emmit and Bobby Holts and Brian T. Holts.
A special thanks to Tony Lewis for sticking by his “brother from another mother” through thick and thin and loving and caring for him.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 12 noon in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Siebert Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
The family of Tony will receive friends after 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 12, 2011 until time for services at the funeral home.
