Mrs. Telvis Inabnitt, daughter of the late Fred and Nannie Mize Eaton , was born at Dahl, KY on Wednesday April 30, 1924 and was a resident of the Somerset Rehabilitation Center for 8 years, she departed this life in the presence of her family on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 having attained the age of 86 years 11 months and 6 days.
She was united in marriage to Mr. Bishop Inabnitt on February 4, 1944, he preceded her in death on June 18, 1993. Survivors include the following children, Betty Skidmore of Lexington, KY, Tammy (and Phillip) Shipp, Jeffery (and Barbara) Inabnitt , Ed (and Rhonda) Inabnitt all of Somerset, KY and Carole (and Doug) Loveless of Nancy, KY; seven grandchildren, Angela Skidmore, Ginger Wise, Dusty Inabnitt, Brad and Chad Shipp, Daniel Loveless, and Jenny Irvin; thirteen great grandchildren, Bishop and Noah Lynn, Lola, Ema, and Sophia Wise, Marisa and D.J. Loveless, Chelsie and Fisher Lawson, Camaron and Caleb Shipp and Sy Rueben and Violet Grace Irvin, and one brother, Kenneth (and Wilda) Eaton of Somerset, KY and a large host of nephews, nieces and friends who mourn her passing.
Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by ; two brothers, Bill and Delno Eaton; four sisters, Verna Phelps, Alma Randall, Marie Randolph and Lula Eaton; and one son in law, Fred Skidmore.
She was a member of the Sinking Valley Baptist Church for most of her life and she worked as a cook at the Shopville Elementary School for several years. Mrs. Inabnitt was a kind and gentle lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2011 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Wise and Bro. Bradley Goforth officiating. Burial will follow in the Bullock Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Telvis Inabnitt will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home form 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2011.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Bullock Cemetery Fund c/o Citizens National Bank, or Hospice of Lake Cumberland. Envelopes will be provided at the Pulaski Funeral Home.
