Joseph Carl "Joe" Mounce

Joseph Carl “ Joe” Mounce, the son of Mary Stogsdill Mounce and the late Carvel J. Mounce, was born in Dearborn, Michigan on February 16, 1954 and he departed this life on Wednesday March 30, 2011 in Somerset Kentucky having attained the age of 57. He was united in marriage to Mrs. Shirley Juanita Hylton Mounce, she survives. Other survivors include; his mother; two sons, Robert J. (and Amanda Jane) Mounce of Somerset, Kentucky, and Randy Jay Mounce of Somerset, Kentucky; the following brothers and sisters, Betty Guyzik of Westland, Michigan, Georgia (and Ted) Szlachta of New Boston, Michigan, Edgar J. Mounce of Somerset, Kentucky, Frances (and Jim) Balentine of Somerset, Kentucky, Sharon (and Ronnie) Kilgore of Somerset, Kentucky, James (and Barbara) Mounce of Hohenwald, Tennessee, Doris Donati of Somerset, Kentucky and Janie (and Jim) Bullock of Somerset, Kentucky and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who both mourn his passing and celebrate his homegoing. Other than his father, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Deward Mounce and Barry Mitchell Mounce. Joe adhered to the Baptist faith, he was a kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011 in the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Ivey officiating, burial will follow in the White Lily Cemetery. The family of Mr. Joseph Carl “Joe” Mounce will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2011 Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mr. Joseph Carl “Joe” Mounce.
