M. Allene Gross, 68, of Eaton, Ohio died on Monday, March 14, 2011 near Brookville, Ohio. She was born on May 12, 1942 in Pulaski County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Vina (Mercer) Gilmore. Allene had worked at the V.A. in Dayton, Ohio for the last 12 years. She will best be remembered in West Manchester, Ohio as the owner and operator of the Minute Maid Pizza House in West Manchester, OH. Her family would like to extend a special thank you to Roxie and Denny Rohrer and Karen Hundley.
Allene was preceded in death by; her brothers, David A. and Gary Gilmore, and one sister, Elizabeth Marie Weddle.
She is survived by; one step-daughter, Jodi (and Larry) Gray of Lewisburg, OH and her grandchildren, Austin and Garrett Gray; her brothers, Bill Gilmore of Somerset, KY, Henry Gilmore of Corbin, KY, John B. Gilmore of Eubank, KY and Jerry W. Gilmore of Science Hill, KY and a large number of nieces, nephews cousins and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn hr passing.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Somerset Cemetery. The family of Mrs. M. Allene Gross will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home form 11:00 a.m. Saturday until time for services.
