Mrs. Mildred Snell

Mrs. Mildred Snell, daughter of the late Frank and Isabelle Boyd Linville, was born in Pulaski County, KY on July 13, 1917 and she departed this life on Thursday, March 3, 2011 in Somerset, KY having attained the age of 93 years, 7 months and 18 days. She was united in marriage to Mr. Marshall Snell , he preceded her in death. Survivors include three children, Glenda Richardson of Reading, Ohio, Jerry (and Shirley) Snell of Evendale, Ohio, and Gene Snell of Science Hill, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Marty Richardson, Beth Potts and Randy Snell; and seven great grandchildren, Tory, Max and Miranda Richardson, Kathryn and Charlie Potts and Zach and Lici Snell. Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one brother; Frankie Linville and two sisters, Lena Cornish and Nina Allen. Mildred was a longstanding member of the Calvary Baptist Church, she had many hobbies including but not limited to, Sewing, Crocheting, Quilting, Cooking, Canning and talking on the telephone with neighbors and friends. She was a Christian lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her and she leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2011 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Gilbert Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnesburg Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Mildred Snell will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Saturday until after services. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Calvary Baptist Church. Pulaski Funeral home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Mildred Snell.
