Flossie Frances Randolph

Flossie "Aunt Sassie" Randolph, of the Elrod Community and Resident of Sunrise Manor, went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2007, at the age of 102 years. She was born on June 27, 1904 in Pulaski County,KY, the daughter of the late Payton and Martha Chaney Randolph. She has been a member of the Sunny Side baptist Church since 1940, where she was a Sunday School Taecher in Earlier years. Survivors include; six nephews, Glen, George, and Vernon Price, Gerald Randolph, Wilford and Royce Purcell; seven nieces, Jewell Hurt, Hedean Faulkner, Magdalene McKinney, Helen Bumgardner, Norma Craig, Jayne Rose and Ruth McGuire and many great nieces and nephews, and a very special friend, Ovalene Sumner. She was preceded in death by her parents; eight brothers, Victor, Elmer, Henry, O.B., James, Tom, Fred, and Payton; four sisters, Mary Price, Nannie Price, Beulah Purcell and Myrtle Yadon. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Brother Austin Campbell and Brother Ted Towner officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnesburg Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Flossie Randolph will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 24. 2007 at the Pulaski Funeral Home. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of all funeral arrangements. Arrangements are pending and will be announced by Pulaski Funeral Home.
