Mrs. Brenda Lee Burns

Brenda Lee Burns age 60 of Somerset , Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on Sunday February 27,2011 after a 27 year battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born on September 20, 1950 in Burnside, KY to Ray Morrow and the late Margret Ann Morrow. Brenda was an Employee of Modern Distributing for 30 years. She enjoyed the outdoors, cooking and spending time with her family. Brenda was an active member of Campground Baptist Church. Mrs. Burns is survived by; her husband, Joseph E. Burns, whom she married on June 30, 1967; survivors include her children, Tammy Jo (and James Edmond) Bass of Somerset, KY, Ashley Rae (and John Wesley) Barnett of Somerset, KY; one grandchild, Josiah Wesley Barnett, and the following brothers and sisters, John Robert Silvers of Science Hill, KY, Joann Elaine Hill of Burnside, KY, Charles Ray Davis of Burnside, KY, Jimmy Morrow of Somerset, KY, Doris Dick of Bronston, KY, Ann Brinson of Bronston, KY and Billy Morrow of Somerset, KY. Brenda was a kind person who loved the Lord Jesus Christ, and her friends and family. She was a gentle person who will be greatly missed by all who knew her and she leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Thomas and Bro. Ron Wesley officiating, burial will follow in the Mill Springs National Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Brenda Lee Burns will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2011.
