Lorene Bennett

Mrs. Lorene (Baugh) Bennett, age 70, of Nancy, Kentucky daughter of the late Killis and Ada (Gaines) Baugh was born on December 1, 1940 in Nancy and departed this life on Monday, February 21, 2011 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Other than her parents Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by her 2nd husband, William Bennett; one daughter, Brenda Sue Butt; one brother, Amous Baugh; four sisters, Ella Tarter, Josephine Dye, Helen Baugh, Wanda Baugh and one grandson, Marcus Scott Logan. Mrs. Bennett is survived by her 1st husband Clifford Lee Butt; one son, Mitchell Butt of Nancy; one daughter, Sandra Gail Segars of Nancy; one sister, Emma Bray of Somerset; five grandchildren, Christopher Scott (and Laura) Butt of Elizabethtown, Brandon Lee Butt of Nancy, Joseph Mitchell Miller of Nancy, Dallas Michael (and Sheena) Segars of Somerset, Sean Robert Segars of Nancy; three great-grandchildren, Brandon Jeffery Butt, Raegan Michelle Butt and Elaina Lorene Butt. She also leaves behind four step- grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews who all mourn her passing. Mrs. Bennett was a retired factory worker of the Lear Sieglar Company and attended Rolling Hills Baptist Church. Mrs. Bennett loved auction, playing bingo and going to West 80 and watching them dance. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Troy Denham officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mrs. Bennett will receive friends on Thursday, February 24, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. at the Pulaski Funeral Home.
