Kenneth R. Avera

Kenneth R. Avera, 61 of Denham Street in Somerset, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2007 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in Somerset on May 3, 1945, son of the late Richard "Mike" and Verna Mae Hopper Avera, Jr. He was an auto mechanic for Molden's Auto Sales and member of Immanuel Baptist Church where he was a custodian. He is survived by his wife, Lois Mounce Avera, whom he married on January 15, 1965, one daughter, Kendra Avera of Somerset, two brothers, Richard E. & (Dixie) Avera of Virginia and Kenneth R. Avera of Science Hill, two sisters, Margaret & (Jeff) Dick of Somerset and Sue & (Leo) Jones of Science Hill, one grandchild, Morgan Avera of Somerset and many special friends and family members. He was preceded in death by his parents. A funeral service will be held at 3 PM Monday, April 23, 2007 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home, Somerset with Rev. Don Jones officiating.
