Ruth Abbott

Ruth M. Abbott, daughter of the late Cuda and Edna Pearlie Flynn Roberts, was born on March 14, 1918 and she departed this life on Monday, February 21, 2011 at the Christian Care Center in Lancaster, KY having attained the age of 92 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ray Abbott. Survivors include; five sons, Lewis Ray (and Evelyn) Abbott of Paint Lick, KY, Paul Lee Abbott of Nancy, KY, Clinton C. Abbott of Arcanum, Ohio, Kenneth Dale (and Virginia) Abbott of Berea, KY, and Roger G. Abbott of Nancy, KY; one daughter, Nancy A. (and Dale) Humphrey of Stanford, KY, one sister, Lucy Roberts of Norwood, Ohio, five grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Ruth was a member of the White Oak Baptist Church at Nancy, KY. She leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 24, 2011 at the chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Dr. James Floyd Officiating, burial will follow in the White Oak Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Ruth M. Abbott will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2011.
