Adell Tarter Baugh

October 30, 1935 — January 29, 2011

Adell Tarter Baugh, of Nancy, Kentucky, went to be with her Lord on January 29, 2011. She was a member of Parkers Mill Road Baptist Church, Somerset, Kentucky. She loved teaching and encouraging children. She tirelessly worked to win lost souls for the Lord and her life’s goal was to make sure her children and grandchildren spent eternity in heaven with her. Adell was born on October 30, 1935 to the late Brent and Ada Tarter in Nancy, Kentucky. She was the thirteenth of fifteen children. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Adell is survived by her husband of 57 years, and high school sweetheart, Arvis Baugh of Nancy. She is survived by two children Sandra (Bryan) Carlson of Kingman, Arizona and Tony (Regina) Baugh of Berea, Kentucky; four grandchildren Natalie, Timothy, Heather and Braden; three stepchildren Holly Carlson, Drew and Bridgette Jackson. She is also survived by one sister Reva (Tarter) Marcum; four brothers Olny Ruel (Bill) Tarter, Richmond, Texas, Amos Tarter, Centerville, Ohio, Garnett Tarter, Nancy, Kentucky and Lowell Tarter, Nicholasville, Kentucky. She is preceded in death by three sisters Bettie (Tarter) Beasley, Elsie (Tarter) Wilson, Polly Erma (Tarter) Davenport; six brothers John Tarter, Edd Tarter, Delbert (Rook) Tarter, Rupert (Russ) Tarter, Lloyd Tarter, and Roscoe Cooper (R.C.) Tarter. Visitation will be held at Pulaski Funeral Home on Friday, February 4, 2011 from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00pm at the Pulaski Funeral Home with Brother Darry Hatfield officiating. Burial will follow in the White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery in Nancy, Kentucky. The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Parkers Mill Road Baptist Church. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be handling all arrangements for Mrs. Adell Tarter Baugh.
