Mrs. Armina Ratliff, daughter of the late Steve and Sosa Johnson Childers was born at Halo, Kentucky on April 23, 1925 and she departed this life on Friday, March 30, 2007 in the presence of her family.
She was united in marriage to Mr. Samuel Ratliff, he preceded her in death.
Survivors include; four daughters, Voncille Blackburn of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Judith Hoffman of Science Hill, Kentucky, Vivian (and Bill) White of Munith, Michigan, and Karen (and Chester) Johnson of Corbin, Kentucky; and one son, Ted (and Marcy) Ratliff of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; seventeen grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; & 2 great great grandchildren; four sisters, Gusta Combs of Novi, Missouri, Gladys Hall of Belleville, Michigan, Draxie Thornsberry of Clifty, Kentucky and Beulah Eades of Brandenburg, Kentucky and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who mourn her passings.
Other than her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by; two sisters; 5 brothers, 1 grandchild, and 1 son-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday April 02, 2007 at the Pulaski Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Pierce and Rev. Doug Mingus officiating; burial will follow in the Mill Springs National Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Armina Ratliff will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 1, 2007 at the Pulaski Funeral Home.
