Rev. Farrada White, Jr, son of the late Donally Farrada White Sr. and Lucille Hall White, was born in Delburn, West Virginia on December 28, 1923 and he departed this life on December 20, 2010 having attained the age of 86 years.
He was united in marriage to Ama Lee Campbell White, she survives. Other survivors include; three children, William L. (and Sharon) White of Bolt, West Virginia, Patricia (and Charles) Reed , Somerset, Kentucky, and Jane (and Dana) Sublett of Alson, Illinois; nine grandchildren, William L., Jr., Troy Allen, Angela, Charles Todd, Wesley D., Teresa Cathleen, Gregory Steven, Randell Nelson and James., fourteen great grandchildren, one brother, Ralph (and Lynn) White of Black River Falls, Wisconsin; four sisters, Sarah Layton of Parish, Alabama, Grace Crosslin of Syldalia, Kentucky, Virginia Cavin of Chicago, Illinois, Janet (and Bill) Wilson of Oakman, Alabama.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by; three brothers, Ray, Billy, and Donald Lee White, and three sisters, Amy Tingler, Ruth Pitsenbarger, and Louise Ward.
Mr. White wasa retired mechanic, and welder. He also was a miner and an itinerate minister. He was a kind and loving person who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He leaves a host of relatives and friends who both mourn his passing and celebrate his homegoing.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 24, 2010 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Entombment will folllow in Monday, December 27, 2010 at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Beckley, West Virginia.
The family of Mr. White will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. Friday, December 24, 2010 until time for services.
