Mr. W. O. Newell

Mr. W. O. "Bill" Newell, son of the late William O. and Ora McKechnie Newell, was born at Bronston, KY on November 25, 1921 and he departed this life on Friday, March 16, 2007 in Somerset, KY having attained the age of 85 years. He was united in marriage to Mrs. Lois Bryant Newell on November 06, 1943 in Pueblo, Colorado, she survives. Other survivors include; the following nephews and nieces, Joe Newell and his wife Libby, Judy Tarter and her husband Don, Becky Hines and her husband, Johnny, and Frankie Coldiron and her husband Linville; he is also survived by a host of other great nephews, nieces and other relatives as well as two special friends, Tonya Hobbs and Otis Moore who mourn his passing. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by; two brothers, Frank and Joe Newell and; one nephew, Michael Newell. Bill was involved in many business interests in and around Pulaski County, KY. he was known most notably for the Farmers Tobacco Warehouse. He was a kind person who will be missed by all who knew him and he leaves several family members and friends who mourn hiss passing. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2007 at the Grace Baptist Church. The family of Mr. Bill Newell will receive friends at the church from 12:00 noon on Monday until after services. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of all funeral arrangements.
